This unit plugs into the analogue port of the PS3-Switch Access Pod and allows you to use switches to influence the action of the left or right joystick – as if you were moving the joystick. The actions are Up, Down, Left and Right. The analogue ports on the PS3-SAP can be adapted in a number of ways to produce different effects and to have switches that can produce – for example, walking, jogging or running, or a range of “joystick” deflection values.
