Product Description

This is the ideal joystick for those with almost no movement in their fingers as the sensitivity can be finely adjusted to suit the abilities of a particular player. A NUBB extension can be fitted which makes the joystick even easier to operate, but does require a little more travel or movement, only in the order of a few millimetres. This unit needs to be plugged in to the PS3-SAP Switch Access Pod, or the LEPMIS GCI-SAP PC gaming interface.

Today on my placement (Brain Injury/Neurorehab) I was lucky enough to see an assessment by a company called LEPMIS who adapt Xbox/Playstayions to make them usable for ANYONE to play any game. Headsets where the slightest tilt can move the character, push buttons which can be attached to wheelchairs to make them accessible from any part of the body (knees, ankles) to make the character jump, shoot etc. The smallest buttons for people with limited ROM in their fingers… Brilliant and inspirational, the possibilities were endless!
